This is Miri that located in Sarawak, Malaysia. Miri City is a 2nd largest city in Sarawak and has a population of 300,000 people with a mixture of Chinese, indigineous tribes who have moved down from their native lands that have been logged, and Malays (mostly immigrated to Miri by way of government postings or from forefathers emigrating from Brunei). Miri was elevated to city status on May 20, 2005 and it is the 10th city in Malaysia (Kuching has 2 cities) and its local authority i.e. Miri City Council is the 10th city council in Malaysia.
